Marvin Young is better known by his stage name Young MC is a British born, American rapper. He is best known for this 1989 hit, which appeared on his Delicious Vinyl debut album 'Stone Cold Rhymin".

You know what's funny? This guy went platinum with this song, co-wrote Tone Loc's Wild Thing and Funky Cold Medina and then his label told him he had to go gangsta. He never really made another mark in music but at least he didn't sell his soul.

That's because the industry turned gangster - the leadership isn't that much different than the mob. It's a shame - the guy had a decent career

Young MC did have another hit song after the year long chart run of Bust A Move, though nowhere impact of his first hit Principals Office did do some damage on the charts and was seen everywhere.

He is still making music althought not on the scale he was. Want the here some check out his MySpace page

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
