born in 93 the first year of my life/

aint never had a mother to be there by my side/

it was a tragedy the day that my grandma died/

i couldnt except the fact that she was out of my life/

and i will never forget the day they sent my dad away/

its tearin up my family im watchin it fade away/

so i stayed by my bed everynight and prayed/

that my family will reunite one day/

i got hataz in my life tryna make me quit/

they hatin on my talents cuz they aint worth shit/

just take me away from the life i live/

cuz ive lost so much and now have nuthin to give/

take me away to a place where theres no tomorrow/

where theres no harm done and i feel no sorry/

cuz the life that i live keeps me so stressed out/

i been on the wrong path so show me the right route/

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
