I need help. I remember a song back from the late 60's or early 70's. I thought the title of the song was JUST LOSING YOU. I have tried looking for the song in the web but I just can't find it. I still remember some lines... perhaps someone can recognize the song but its lyrics

JUST LOSING YOU WOULD BE TOO MUCH TO BEAR

ALL THE THINGS I POSSESS CAN'T BRING NO HAPPINESS WITHOUT YOU TO SHARE

AND WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO ME DARLING IF YOU GO

I DON'T WANNA THINK ABOUT IT

I DON'T WANNA KNOW.

CAUSE WE'RE A COUPLE OF LOVE BIRDS WITH TRUE LOVE.....

I thought this was Smokey Robinson and the Miracles'.

Help please! Thanks

You are correct. The song title is "Just Losing You" by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles. It is track number 5 on their 1968 album "Special Occasion".

I like it when the searching party has ALL the info.

edit: Here is a low bitrate copy that I have. Remember me on Christmas. Send cash.

There are several that know more, I just have more hard drives.

I also notice that eriqcn didn't come back to find out the answer or download the song. He/she registered just for that one post? Go figger.

Maybe they are going to give us 90 days to come up with the answer.

...that they already gave us.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
