Hi,

Check out the new single 'Falling Out Of Touch' by Conor Mason

Conor's song 'Circles', was one of ten songs of the year in the BBC Across The Line show in N. Ireland. Most recently, Conor has also won both the XFM Unsigned competition and the monthy 'Your Sound' showdown at King Tuts. This has lead to a slot at the Hydro Connect Music Festival this year, where Conor will play alongside artists like Elbow, Sigur Ros, the Coral and Gomez.

So now I've got to balance someone signing up and posting two links in a spamesque fashion with the namechecking of a number of artists I really like and the fact that DAIC says that said artist sounds quite good.

Oh balls. I've bookmarked it to listen to later. I think I must be going soft in my old age.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
