I bet they put on a Hell of a concert back in the day. I never went to one so I can't say 4sure.

Here is the track listing from the album that song came from. Several hits came from that album.

The Who - Who's Next (1971)

01. Baba O'Riley (5:00)

02. Bargain (5:33)

03. Love Ain't For Keeping (2:10)

04. My Wife (3:36)

05. The Song Is Over (6:13)

06. Getting In Tune (4:50)

07. Going Mobile (3:44)

08. Behind Blue Eyes (3:43)

09. Won't Get Fooled Again (8:35)

Nice vid, Dude.

I saw them with the James Gang at the Spectrem in Philadelphia back in the day. They played Live @ Leeds and Tommy. They were one of my favorite live bands - much livelier than Led Zeppelin (just my opinion). But then again, they were in their prime when I saw them

Here is clip from the Smothers Brothers show of them performing My Generation in color and complete with instrument smashing at the end. I have a 40meg mpg file of this same performance. It includes a few seconds at the beginning of the clip where they are being asked their names and a little light duty clowning that is not included in the youtube vid below. If anyone is interested send me a pm and I will upload/send it to you. I also have several other clips of them performing other songs but they are all black and white.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
