NOT WORKING!!!! Got the whole weekend free!! That is a good thing, cause I need to rest up for Crue Fest coming up on Tuesday. I might go out with my new camera and shoot something or I may stay indoors and enjoy the AC. Don't really know yet.

Our baseball team lost yesterday in the State Tournament, but we won this morning. We play again Monday morning...I'll be pitching batting practice at 7:30 AM for the 9:00AM game

How many games are left and where do they stand in the scheme of things?

You win, you keep playing...but the second part of your question is way too philisophical for a baseball guy to answer...

Well, you said they lost and then they won. So apparently it takes more than a one loss to keep you out of the tournament.

we had 6.1 a few days ago. Hang in there dude

I've been through a couple - they should, but don't scare me.

My roommate thought I was crazy in 94, when I went back to sleep after the big one in Bel Air. She was panicking, because the water pipes broke in the house - but I figured it was out of my hands, nothing I could do would fix it but some nice shut-eye :)

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
