Joan Baez

Joe South

...and lets not omit Julie Brown. Who can forget such classics as:

'Cause I'm a Blond

Homecoming Queen's Got A Gun

Earth Girls Are Easy

I Like 'em Big And Stupid

Trapped In The Body Of A White Girl

Will I Make It Through The Eighties

I see that while I was postin' the above, Dude edited the list at the top and moved the thread. I'm still trying to decide whether to impeach or terminate the mofo. :guns2:

I think it depends on your definition of best... two that haven't been mentioned yet are Rivers Cuomo and E... Cuomo is the master of the modern three minute pop song while E writes songs that appeal to everyone from Disney cartoon makers to disaffected teenagers.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
