The Truth

I thought I wrote this about a woman I could not have. Now I think it is about the music business. I have an impossible dream which can never be realized.

I love you

But you could never love me

I finally accepted

The way things are

I cried a million tears

Through 18 months of hell

I thank God

He let me come this far

The Truth hurts

But only for awhile

The Truth

Will set you free

The Truth hurts

But only for a time

The Truth

Will set you free

It's over my shoulder now

Something like a hurricane

The howling wind

And the driving rain

It's over my shoulder now

It's slipping into the past

The barb wire

And the broken glass

The Truth hurts

But only for awhile

The Truth

Will set you free

The Truth hurts

But only for a time

The Truth

Will set you free

solo

The Truth hurts

But only for awhile

The Truth

Will set you free

The Truth hurts

But only for a time

The Truth

Will set you free

The Truth

Will set you free

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
