Yup. That's what you do with people that don't like the Eagles.

"Hotel California" was The Eagles best!! And one of the top ten best of the 70's.

Loved it then, and still do!!

I like Don Henley's first solo album, Joe Walsh's work with The James Gang, and Timothy B. Schmit's work with Poco... Given a choice I would listen to The Byrd's before The Eagles

I'm not a huge Eagles fan either, Dude. But that one album was excellent!! Saw them on the "Hotel California" tour too. They were with Fleetwood Mac. In Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Stadium. It was also Stevie Nicks' first tour with Fleetwood!! Summer of 76 or 77, not real sure which.

Great show!! Lots of :smoke17: !!

Given a choice, I would listen to Fleetwood Mac before the Eagles - the Peter Green group, or the newer incarnation

Well, that day, we got 'em both!! In fact, I still remember Christine MacVie walking off stage and saying "Enjoy The Eagles"!!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
