SuperGroove launches with a new monthly event at Babalou, bringing you some of the finest House music legends from around the globe.

Kicking us off on February 15th will be Stonebridge, an artist that needs little introduction. If you've danced in a club the chances are it's been to a Stonebridge production. His unique brand of sexy, pumping, funky house music has ruled dancefloors for years.

Stonebridge's Tracks Put 'Em High and 'Take Me Away', have featured in top 10s worldwide, with 'SOS' and 'You Don't Know' also crashing into charts across the world. His list of remix credentials reads like a who's who of music, including artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott, Robbie Williams, Simple Minds, Will Smith, Texas, Patti Labelle and Debbie Harry!

Our fantastic new residents Stretch First supporting Stonebridge on the night and will be making the first of many monthly appearances to guarantee a night of consistent, top quality entertainment.

Also playing will be ExplodingChickenRecords.com label boss and passion fm DJ, Simon 'crazy' Saunders. He, James Edwards & 3 Beat Collective will be keeping things fiery and fresh on a night not to be missed!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
