When you’re sitting in the studio, or in front of any desk, for hours on end — whether you’re gaming, producing, or writing the next great American novel — comfort should be your top priority. As much as it’s recommended you be active during the day, when you’re sitting, you should be doing do comfortably and with proper support. Secretlab has a history of creating top-tier desk chairs and they’ve partnered with Deadmau5 once again for their latest custom design on the TITAN Evo.

The Deadmau5 Cube chair is available now in limited quantities. Built on the well-known TITAN Evo design, the deadmau5 collaboration is the latest in a string of designs the Secretlab team has created to show off your favorite fandom.

“I’m very discerning when it comes to the gear I choose to support me creatively,” shares Deadmau5. “For a guy who spends 12 hours a day sitting down, comfort and ergonomics are very important to me. The TITAN Evo keeps me focused and supported, from long hours at the studio to marathon gaming sessions. Secretlab as a brand, resonates with quality. I love their products, I love their desk, I use them for my gaming stations — I’ve had a Secretlab chair with me over the last couple of years, and it’s been a staple in my day-to-day ever since.”

“Gamers today no longer consist of geeky boys camped out in their basements,” shares Ian Alexander Ang, Secretlab’s Co-Founder and CEO. “It is a healthy hobby that many professionals—from elite athletes to internationally-acclaimed musicians such as Joel—now enjoy. We want to be part of the movement to educate the public on this and that’s why we co-created the world’s first deadmau5 gaming chair with Joel back in 2019. Since then, our award-winning gaming chairs and desks have relentlessly supported him on his journey as a creator and artist—through the past four years and beyond. Whether he’s dropping beats or demolishing his opponents in-game, we are thrilled that deadmau5 continues to rely on Secretlab as his leading choice for best-in-class comfort and support.”

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
