A woman stands in a dark room looking serious.

How far would you go in an attempt to track down a loved one who's gone missing?

That's the question at the heart of Netflix's new trailer for Travis Taute and Daryne Joshua's TV drama/thriller Unseen, which follows a cleaner, Zenzi Mwale (Gail Mabalane), who goes to pick up her husband on the day of his release from prison — only to find he's already been released earlier in the day and is now nowhere to be seen.

What follows looks like a tense cat-and-mouse game where Zenzi must navigate a criminal underworld while also evading the police, after she first bends and then breaks the law in an attempt to get to the bottom of what's happened.

Unseen is available to stream on Netflix from March 29.
