Believe it or not, the reviews for Britney's new album have been mostly positive:

Surprise! Britney's New CD a Triumph "Blackout," her first studio album in four years, is not only a very good album, it's her best work ever — a triumph, with not a bad song to be found on the 12 tracks." - The Associated Press

Stunner! Britney's new CD is good! What fans will find, however, is vastly more interesting and less expected than a first-person rehash of all the tabloid tales. Ready for the bombshell to drop?"Blackout" is the best album of Britney's career. - San Jose Mercury News

Britney throws a few sparks on 'Blackout' The notorious party girl's first studio album in four years is wall-to-wall club-bangers, thanks to the pulsating beats and production board wizardry of Timbaland protégé Nate "Danja" Hills and her Toxic collaborators Bloodshy & Avant. Spears does her part by brashly slinking over the rhythms with sexy promises to "turn the heat up." - USA Today

"Poetry it's not. Still, there is something delightfully escapist about Blackout, a perfectly serviceable dance album abundant in the kind of bouncy electro elements that buttressed her hottest hits ..." - Entertainment Weekly

The sad news is that you can expect the tabloid frenzy to continue. In any event, you can listen to Britney's entire new album at Much Music's First Spin and see for yourself. And if you love it, you can Get it
