Google's new 411 service is fast, easy to use, and best of all, it's free. Brian, a Google Voice Researcher, shows you below just how easy it is to order a pizza through Google's 411. Obviously there are handy uses, but we will leave that up to you. You can check out Google 411 yourself right HERE - tell us what you think.

I've been using it for a few months now... It's decent. I wish instead of calling out a list of the top "8" results, you could narrow down to a street, zip code, or something of that nature. One thing they do to curb this is by remembering your location, so it always chooses your nearest location from what you usually pick, and also gives you the option to hear more choices if, for example, you're at a friend's house across town. Voice recognition is good and calls are connected automatically (unlike other free 411 like 800-FREE-411). Also unlike that free 411, there are no ads to listen to... at least not yet.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
