Seems like we pissed off someone over at the IT Department of our host and they simply pulled the plug on BeatKing.com temporarily... luckily for us, we have an insider who gave him a swift kick in the ass for all our and our users troubles.

No no... jk. Actually we (I, me) are moving hosts and in the process lost some posts from a few days, but the worst part is I forgot to change some settings that led to many of you seeing my famous HOTLINK.gif image that I created long long ago for other sites stealing our bandwidth (mostly from the HOTTIES section...). Well, we here at BeatKing.com press on and diligently worked around the clock (literally) to try and make everything right... (it helps that BK is so international!) and well... it looks good so far. If there is anything that is bringing an error or simply giving you trouble, just let us know and we'll work fast to correct it. We're working on some currently known bugs like the cookie issue, so please bear with us.

Logging in is still screwy--if you press the beatking logo, it takes you to the homepage and makes you log in all over again....or doesnt do anything.

I went to the "What Are You Listening To" thread, and notice the jpegs dont come up--you can see the emblem for jpeg, but not the image.

I only have the basic text editor available and when I try to "toggle sidepanel" I get a 404.

Not for me - i couldnt see any of the images at first The next time I got some to worrk, some not - now I've fiddled with some of the settings, and I finally did get them to work. I have no idea why I'm getting different results - it may be some skins allow the images, some dont as all the images appeared in Invision but not Bodhega

I try to work in Invision. But when I go back to the homepage (pressing the Beatking logo), it puts me back in the Bodhega skin and asks me to sign in again
