Hip Hop Box Set Celebrates 25 Years

In celebration of 25 years of Hip-Hop hit making, The Hip-Hop Box is being released along with 51 of the culture's most significant songs starting with "Rapper's Delight" up to last year's monster hits.

The Hip-Hop Box also features journalist Tom Terrell's historical essay, a tribute to Hip-Hop's reggae roots and notes from Chuck D. Listed in chronological order, the four disc compilation includes earlier hits such as Kurtis Blow's "The Breaks," Golden Age smashes like Eric B. & Rakim's "Follow The Leader," new school cuts like Craig Mack's "Flava In Ya Ear" and new millennium tracks like 50 Cent's "21 Questions."

The Hip-Hop Box hits stores on April 20.
