SAVE UP TO 61%: As of Nov. 27, Samsonite and American Tourister luggage sets are on sale at Amazon, with a minimum discount of 30% off.

What's the number one badly-kept secret about traveling? Plan ahead. Plane tickets are cheaper. Hotel reservations are more flexible. Anticipation grows even more, and stress levels go down. And now, just in time for the busiest travel season of the year, a brand new set of luggage is even cheaper. Amazon's Cyber Monday sale is taking 30-61% off expandable travel sets from Samsonite and American Tourister. There's even fun themed luggage for kiddie travelers or the kids-at-heart.

Why we love it

Sleek and futuristic, the Samsonite Freeform looks good from the lounge to the airplane aisle. There's a 21-inch and 28-inch set included in this sale, and the ultra-light construction means that they weigh just 6.5 and 9.5lbs, respectively. Four beefy spinner wheels and a recessed TSA-compatible combination lock make for easy packing.

American Tourister deals

Why we love it

Not only is this the biggest discount in Amazon's Cyber Monday luggage sale, it's the most eye-catching set here. Rugged ABS plastic hardside shells, four multidirectional wheels, and an expandable inner book case with straps and zippered pockets can take on any amount of airport chaos. There's 24-inch and 21-inch sizes included in this set, both expandable all around by 1.5 inches, yet still compatible for carry-on sizes. Plus, with the bright blue polka dots you'll never lose it in the baggage carousel.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
