SAVE $80: As of Nov. 26, the noise-canceling Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones are on sale at Amazon for Black Friday — save $80 off the original price, just $249.

Haven't you heard? It's cool to wear big, chunky over-ear headphones wherever you go again. Forget AirPods, we're talking massive, earmuff-style headphones that'll add an extra two pounds to your noggin. But seriously, fashion aside, over-ear headphones bring a lot of perks with them that tiny earbuds just don't — namely, comfort.

And with the Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones, comfort is the name of the game. Really, it's right there in the name, and so is "quiet," which brings us to the other reason these headphones rock — unrivaled noise-canceling tech. Also, they're $80 off at Amazon for Black Friday, which is sick.

The Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones are fully wireless and have a great balance of sound quality, noise cancellation, and overall comfiness. The over-ear headphones can completely remove outside noise so you can truly enjoy your "me time," but they also feature an Aware Mode that allows for some ambient noise to funnel through so you can listen to your tunes and podcasts while also not accidentally falling into an open manhole (or whatever happens in cartoons). They also bring with them a 24-hour battery life, customizable EQ settings, high-fidelity audio, and comfortable earcups that you can wear all day.

Join the elite over-ear club and pick up some Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones, now $80 off at Amazon for Black Friday.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
