50 Cent Will Quit The Music Industry

Recommended Posts

50cent.jpg50 Cent has said that he will quit the music industry if his new album fails to outsell rap rival Kanye West.

As has been widely reported, both US rap stars will release their new albums on September 11th in the United States.

50 Cent said that if his album, ‘Curtis,’ fails to outsell Kanye’s, ‘Graduation,’ then he’ll no longer “put out anymore solo albums."

"Let's raise the stakes,” he told SOHH. “If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11th, I'll no longer write music. I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out anymore solo albums."

50 Cent’s comments come days after West turned down the opportunity to have a live presidential-style TV debate with the rapper on American television.

I would intentionally buy K-knee's album just to destroy it 5 seconds after my receipt prints in order to get Fifty Scents off the market. Hopefully he'll bail out of the movie and video game business too.

We need another Papa John's in Bakersfield. He can give me fitty cents off my next purchase.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
