So many dear friends. I am so blessed!

Awesome to hear from you Mark - it's been a while. (11 years clean!!)

Sorry I have been so scarce lately, here's what's basically been happening with me. Besides having a very full work schedule ( I changed jobs - a little better pay, way closer to home, way better hours and I'm still helping others), going into the prisons to spread hope and spending more time with my wife and kids - I found out a few weeks ago I have (prostate) cancer (along with my Hepatitis C). They caught it very early and have moved very quickly to get me fixed up. I have had more tests and more things poked and prodded in my orifices (worst sex I have ever had!!!) They are performing a procedure on the 22nd of this month. Basically where they plant radioactive seeds in my prostate. I have the pioneer of this procedure and he says my prognosis is excellent for full recovery - mainly because of my age (relatively young). I have beat the Hep C (so far) and I will beat this !! I have had awesome support from Two Deer and the rest of my family (that I've told). So don't think I don't care or don't hold you guys dear to my heart because I do.

This cancer thing was a little overwhelming at first - you know - but I have an awesome belief in my Great Spirit that he has not brought me this far to drop me on my head. Just another journey and he will probably have something positive, a new task for me after this is over - probably counseling cancer patients the way my life has worked so far. So be it !

Anyways I thank you wonderful people for the love and support over the years and the one's to come................ Love Richard

Absolutely. It seemed when I was a kid that the mention of cancer turned the best people sort of sickly colored but nowadays people are beating the shit out of that disease every day.

I have no doubt you'll be having the best sex of your life again in no time.

Wow. I'm sorry to hear about your health problems Richard--I hope this treatment works like they say it will, and you will be better soon.

Constant positive thoughts of your health are emanating steadily from here to there, my friend. Come back when you can and let us know how you are doing. _manhug__by_darkmoon3636.gif

Thanx Mark. Funny thing is I've never felt better in my life the last few month's. My immune system has been excellent - not so much as a sniffle - go figure! Like I said I will beat this and I have no doubt about that. Hope life has been good to you. We need to stay in touch better old friend - same goes for Curtis and the rest of the crew and I guess it's starts with me. ;)

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
