Simpson's Movie Wow's The Critics

I definitely plan to check this one out - even the critics all love it, which is rare for any movie.

FYI, I went to school with the film's director, David Silverman, and (the voice of) Bart Simpson worked in the library when I was in grad school - both very nice people. Small world we live in. Here is an interview with director David Silverman and the voice of Bart, Nancy Cartright, who reflect on their careers and how they evolved.

Who else is gonna check it out the film this weekend weekend?

I'm not much of a one for going out to movies on the opening weekend [or going out to movies at all, really] but I will watch it, probably when it's released on dvd. The trailers I've seen have been hilarious. They keep showing the "spider-pig" bit lol.

I happened to have been refered to a link (HERE) that allowed me to watch this same movie.

I have yet to watch it but may give it a shot. The link will surely be gone quick.

PS- Be aware, there is software that you must download to download the movies but as a user I can

say that it is virus/spyware free and runs smoothly. A little hint, if you download any movies be sure to move them to a new folder once they are done downloading. If you do not move it, and Veoh (the site) decides to remove the movie from the site, they will also delete it off of your computer if you have the software running. Just a hint.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
