Dyson V8 cordless stick vacuum cleaner

Save $99.01: If your home's a mess, trust one of the top brands to help you clean up. As of Sept. 20, the Dyson V8 cordless vacuum is on sale for $299.99 following a 25% price cut. Make sure first to add the vacuum to your cart to see the discounted price.

Like Apple products, you don't often see substantial sudden price drops on a Dyson. That's why one of our favorite deals of the day deserves a special shoutout if you're in need of a better way to keep your home nice and tidy.

This highlight features the Dyson V8 cordless vacuum that's now only $299.99 at Walmart. Often available for around $399, that means you save $99.01 on one of the most popular cordless stick vacuums. Keep in mind that in order to see this deal, you need to add it to your shopping cart first. This is always a good indicator that a retailer is selling a product at a deep discount.

The Dyson V8 is the ultimate choice if you're annoyed with wrangling cords from standard upright vacuums. Its rechargeable battery offers up to 40 minutes of vacuuming with powerful suction in a cordless design. It also features whole-machine HEPA filtration to capture allergens so that it expels cleaner air. So hopefully you won't need to take a Claritin before you vacuum from now on.

You'll also see the benefit of its more powerful motor and bristles that remove more dirt from both carpet and hard floors, whether it's fine dust or larger bits of debris. And while larger upright vacuums may still be more powerful, you get the tradeoff in versatility. It quickly converts to a handheld mode for spot cleaning or reaching difficult areas such as furniture or in between car seats.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
