I have no idea, but it doesn't sound like authentic 70s disco to me. Reminds me of that Daft Punk song. I'd bet this was made in the 90s. But I could be wrong. - gnutron

Sounds a bit Daft Punk-ish but not quite as good. That's probably not a huge help though

Reminds me of that Daft Punk song Sounds a bit Daft Punk-ish Ha! Cool! - Two Word Review

A question was posed for you, DuMonde--respond here, so I can respond at AskMetafilter:

Is this a sample from a modern disco house track? ... because those filters ... they don't sound very disco.

If it's a sample, you're better off finding the producers and just emailing them. If that's actual disco, then maybe some context would help us answer this question. - False Jesii Inc.

"Not disco. Not daft punk. Pretty much standard mainstream Euro-house. Try posting it on TuneID.com" - rhizome

rhizome is right. I sent some messages to my house brethern, because I do recognize it as a track they may want to physically hurt me for reminding them of. The filter work doesn't sound like actual french disco house to me. It reminds me of when mainstream dance remixes started working that style of filter work into their tracks. Like that summer pop producers started using bit destroyers in their tracks. What a terrible time for us all that was.--False Jesii

Sounds like you can have some three way action going to find this if you also post at TuneId :)

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
