Cuisinart 3-in-1 grill, griddle, and oven with pizza on rack

Save $50: As of June 28, the Cuisinart 3-in-1 Pizza Oven Plus is only $197 as part of Walmart's Fourth of July savings event. The $50 drop works out to about a 20% discount.

Outdoor cooking in a tiny outdoor cooking space doesn't necessarily mean making hotdogs over a fire.

Cuisinart's 3-in-1 Pizza Oven Plus is a clutch little addition if a full-sized grill or pizza oven is out of the question, and you can grab it for $197 at Walmart. This Fourth of July rollback cuts $50 off the $247 MSRP.

This versatile appliance is a pizza oven at its core. It's able to make the perfect brick oven-style 'za by baking at a pre-set pizza temperature (around 700 degrees Fahrenheit) and distributing heat evenly across the crust. The stone, which is secured underneath the grill grate, is raised slightly to promote natural convection heat. Pizzas should be ready in six to eight minutes.

The dual-hinged lid that acts as the drop-down pizza door doubles as your standard grill lid, which flips up and down. Both the grill grates (260 square inches of cook space) and griddle plate (230 square inches of cook space) are cast iron for maximum heat retention, fueled by a 15,000 BTU burner. A gas hose for a 20-pound propane tank is included.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
