looking for midi info and chord progressions

Hi. I'm looking for 2 things regarding music. If you know only one, that'll help too.

1. Are there any websites that have midi files of popular songs and artists for download?

2. Are there any websites or books that displays just the key and chord progressions of popular songs and artists (such as I-V-vi-IV.....)? I'm not looking for sheet music or musical scores (no measures, bars, staffs). I'm looking for just chord progressions.

Thanks.

off the top of my head, there should be some some info on the latter in the dj's and musicians forum. if you type in 'chord progressions' and 'artists name' in google or ask, you should pull up roughly what you want. for instance, i know there is something along those lines for tom petty when i get a moment, i will see what i can find in the afternoon

here is a link to that forum

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
