SAVE $44.59: The Bissell Little Green portable upholstery and carpet cleaner is on sale at Walmart for an all-time low of $79 as of June 7. It typically retails for $123.59, so this saves you 36%.

If TikTok hasn't already made you buy it, this deal probably will.

As of June 7, Walmart has the internet-famous Bissell Little Green on sale for only $79 — that's 36% off its usual retail price of $123.59. We've never seen it fall below $89 there before (even over Walmart+ Weekend), so if you're in the market for a stellar spot and stain cleaner, this is a really good opportunity to grab it.

Perfect for pet owners and anyone who's spill-prone, the Little Green is powerful enough to slurp gunk and grime out of carpet, upholstery, and car interiors, but still light enough to carry around easily. Using it is as simple as filling its 48-ounce tank with a mixture of warm water and cleaner — it comes with a trial-size bottle of Bissell Spot and Stain with Febreze formula, FWIW — then using its hose to spray the solution over any messes. After letting that soak in for a few minutes, you can use the built-in brush on the hose's nozzle to scrub away any remaining stains and lift away the moisture.

As a quick PSA, this is the 1400M model that's sold exclusively at third-party retailers; the one you'll find on the actual Bissell website is model number 1400B. The only differences between the two appear to be their colors and the 1400M one's lack of a HydroRinse self-cleaning tool for the hose. (As someone who currently owns and loves that version, I can assure you it's not a dealbreaker.) We've reached out to Bissell for clarification and will update this post if we hear back.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
