SAVE $100: The Dyson V7 Animal Cordless Stick Vacuum is on sale at Best Buy for 25% off as of May 20. Get it for $299.99 instead of $399.99.

Dyson is a household name for a reason. Its vacuums are known for their powerful suction and thoughtful design, and the V7 Animal cordless stick vacuum is no exception.

This vac is equipped with the brand's proprietary digital V7 motor, which basically increases airflow and circulates air so that the dirt that's sucked in separates from other particles, then gets stored in the bin without clogging up the filters. Debris can then be ejected directly into the trash without the hassle of physically shaking a bag over the garbage can.

Battery life is just 30 minutes, but who really wants to vacuum for any longer than that? And with the suction power this thing has, you should be able to cover a pretty decent amount of ground in that time. If you live in a larger house, though, you might want to invest in a heavier duty model.

And if for whatever reason you actually prefer corded vacuums, well, you do you. But for anybody else, this Dyson Stick Vacuum is a great pick and a steal while it's on sale.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
