XIE and dance music heavyweight JSTJR join forces for ‘$AVAGE’ a sonically pleasing glitchy videogame-esque banger with jungle and electro influences. The track immediately kicks off with glitchy, entrancing synths complimented by XIE’s hypnotic vocals. Serenading synths quickly lull the listeners into a trance only to be followed by a jolting groove as heavy sub basses enter the sonic space.

Electro and jungle influences are fused together throughout the entirety of the record creating a lively combination of anthemic energy. ‘$AVAGE’ is as groovy as it is emotionally and melodically enthralling. XIE has received cosigns from Illenium, RL Grime and is quickly paving her own sound into electronic music. Check out what XIE had to say about making ‘$AVAGE’ – “$AVAGE is a self empowering high octane ride about unleashing your inner power through all of life’s madness.”

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
