Bernard Wright - Who do you love

For most people I know Bernard is considered a one hit wonder, but it seems the has a lot going on.

Keyboardist Bernard Wright seemed like a coming fusion and urban star when he toured with Lenny White at 13 and played with Tom Browne in 1979. He got such strong response that he was signed to GRP in 1981. But the LP 'Nard stalled, though there was good reaction among R&B and fusion fans to the single "Just Chillin' Out." It was followed by Funky Beat for Arista and Mr. Wright for Manhattan/EMI. Wright also co-wrote and sang with La La on "We'll Keep Strivin." He has recorded with Cameo, Bobby Brown, Pieces of a Dream, and Charles Earland, among others. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide Here

Viacom sucks...They complain & youtube has to take it down...Bernard Wright does not have a video collection...Viacom does not have a video on demand service...So what's up with all they hostility towards people that enjoy an artist and wish to remember them by sharing a video that isn't on any music video shows any more..???

If Viacom takes down Youtube, they are gonna witness a whole lotta trouble this time around. I wouldnt be surprised if consumers boycotted them.

I was able to find the video again, and a little better quality also so everyone enjoy while you can. No doubt Viacom will be going after any website that has there videos on them. The fight is ridiculous pretty much the same way the fight with napster was. I am old enought to remember before the web and ipods, getting a hot sone and recording it onto a cassette tape and sharing it. I'm sure that was breaking copyright laws also. These companies are just crazy. Anyway this is one of my favorite songs from back in the day, I even liked the LL Cool J's sampling of the song on loungin', but could some please explain that whole rolling and bouncing of the ground part of the video.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
