Their first album was released in 1991. The original members of the group were Bob James (keyboards), Lee Ritenour (guitars), Nathan East (bass), and Harvey Mason (drums). In 1998, Lee Ritenour left the group and chose Larry Carlton as his replacement. From Wikipedia

Fourplay is one of my favorite Jazz bands, this song is from there second cd "Between The Sheets" released 1993

That's a supergroup and one I should have known about. Both videos are terrific

Back in the day, I had most of the CTI collection - Bob James played on just about every one of those records. Lee Ritenour and Larry Carlton were both fine guitarists; I think Larry played on alot of Joni Mitchell albums, and tons of other stuff, too. Thanx for the heads up

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
