We're marching in the parade tomorrow and then to the American Legion for drinks. I'll take pics. :thumbsup:

Sunday: Probably ride the couch, rent a movie and order take out. :happy:

a beautiful, quiet day down here on the last frontier....me and my 8 year old daughter jessica are watching spongebob squarepants on cable at the moment....i might go trout fishing later.... :) :)

Nothing wrong with a good head start! Tomorrow I'm required to be sober and vigilant enough to keep a vehicle between the hedges. :)

talking to Rock in Portugal, they've got a two night festie there, so just chillng over here. well, trying to. :wub:

dunno if this counts for this weekend, but gonna be in London monday night: 'The Men behind The Man In Black play an exclusive one-off show next month performing the historic music that they played with the legendary Johnny Cash...

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
