Shows are beginning to open up all over the country now and we couldn’t be more excited to get out and experience the electrifying culture of live shows. In a match made in music heaven, celebrated electronic producer Kweku Saunderson joined forces with acclaimed rapper Dai Burger for “I Miss The Club” a fun, zeitgeist-defining track that perfectly captures this unique moment in time, poised on the edge of the summer of 2021, in an age shot through with both hope and uncertainty.

It’s an high energy house tune that can’t help but get you moving whether you’re sitting in the office, working from home, or out in the club. “I Miss The Club” combines elements of minimal techno with a warm latin swing, sprinkled with Dai Burger’s inimitable and infectious sass and bite. Together, Kweku Saunderson & Dai Burger make an excellent team, making this hopefully the start of many more collaborations between both!

Many movements started in the club, the underground” Kweku Saunderson reflects, “I felt this record was a perfect way to resurrect the spirits of those who felt dormant this past year or so. Perhaps the song will awaken those movements and even start something new.”

Dai Burger declares “2020 was such a roller coaster ride. We want to express how much we missed the f*cking Club and having out with our friends. This song will have you ready!

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
