Yesterday, Pasquale Rotella enlisted the help of fans from across the globe on Instagram who have spent the afternoon with him putting together the puzzle pieces of the EDC Las Vegas lineup. Headliners received DM’s from Pasquale containing a pair of names from the EDC lineup and have worked together across social media to piece the puzzle together with all 220+ performing artists.

Then, at 7pm PT on a Sunday, Pasquale revealed the full lineup for this year’s EDC Las Vegas, now happening in October at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. As usually, it’s easier to ask “who isn’t playing EDC?” as so many artists are annually added to the lineup, but let’s take a look at some of the back-to-backs that typically make this yearly event so special.

On the first day, drum & bass fans will be treated to a massive throwback b2b with Delta Heavy and Loadstar, as well as Mob Tactics and Prolix; hardstyle fans will be treated to Darksiderz b2b Mrotek; the house heads will receive Solardo b2b Vintage Culture; and our headbangers get the unique Jauz b2b Peekaboo set, which is sure to be absolutely packed. And then, we have the surprising Kayzo b2b Knife Party set — we have no idea where this set will end up, as Knife Party lately has veered toward more mainstage sets and Kayzo continues to get heavier and heavier.

For day two, you can count on seeing the classic Gammer b2b K?d, as well as a special house set from Diplo and Lee Foss. Fallen b2b Richter will reunite for yet another stellar drum & bass performance, as well.

Finally, the last day features a number of interesting sets, from 12th Planet b2b Saymyname, to Afrojack b2b R3hab, to Crime Family b2b Blvck Jesus b2b WSHGTN, Dubfire b3b Nicole Moudaber b3b Paco Osuna, Herobust b2b Spag Heddy, and Slander b2b Said The Sky. And though it’s not a b2b, Joyryde will also be performing an all DNB set on the final day.

There’s truly something for everyone each and every day, so check out the full lineup below!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
