We’re always on the look for up and coming talent and we’re super excited to introduce you to itsCHRISJOHNSON. He’s a promising young producer out of Florida who is the man behind this sensational single, “Cold Nights“, and you get to hear it here first!

Cold Nights” is an intoxicating deep house track, one that drowns you in a blissful world that only makes you want to press play over and over again. itsCHRISJOHNSON provides a punchy bass line on top of ambient pads and perfectly placed vocal chops that all come together perfectly with a pitched down vocal. It’s deep house at its finest and no doubt a song that will enjoy a lot of success this year.

Cold Nights” is one of the tracks off of the producer’s forthcoming debut Monster EP, which will be released on Friday, June 4 via his own label Social Sound Club. The five-track EP was first introduced to listeners with the single “Wake Up,” which premiered on Sirius XM Chill and has been streamed in 31 countries worldwide.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
