FREAK ON has made a name for himself with his distinct style of booty bouncing tech house — and today he presents his first-ever music video for “Recycle That.”

Last month we premiered the single, which landed on Dr. Fresch’s House Call Records. The song showcases FREAK ON’s playful synth work, expert flow and addictive hooks — and the music video drives home the “tongue-in-cheeks” concept with trippy visuals and a fair share of derrière.

FREAK ON shares of the music video:

I wanted to do something fun for ‘Recycle That’ since it received so much love and I hit my first Beatport number one with it. A cheeky little music video seemed like the move since the tune included original vocals from myself. Don’t forget you can’t recycle junk 😉

Dr. Fresch adds:

“Recycle That” is a smashing combination of personality and dancefloor madness. It’s a tech house banger combined with a lot of vocal hook flavor. It’s perfectly suited for a return to night clubs, and is sure to induce smiles as well as a dancefloor explosion. Get ready to freak, because this is just the beginning of one man’s tech house pipe dream come true.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
