Roger Waters - Dark Side of the Moon

Recommended Posts

Coming pretty close to me twice.

Monday, July 9th

Boston, MA

TD Banknorth

Friday, July 13th

Hartford, CT

New England Dodge Amphitheatre

I'll go if only David Gilmour and the rest of Floyd is going to be there...Already seen Waters solo, with Eric Clapton on lead G, and Floyd with everyone else BUT Waters--anything less than the entirety of Pink Floyd would be a waste of the whatever huge sum of money they'll be gouging us for tickets to this.

Nearest to me is Dublin but I really don't want to pay 96€ for a ticket plus hotel plus diesel. It's not high on any priority list. Must be getting old...

It's not very often an act of this size comes to my City. So considering there will never be a reunion tour, and I've never seen ANY Floyd member solo, I am fucking stoked about this. Best part about it is that I'm taking my Dad :P (seems fitting, actually)

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
