Can I have a list of bands with gay lead singers?

Recommended Posts

I don't want a band that's like, "The Gay Boyz" or anything, I'm just wanting a list of some cool bands with gay or bisexual lead singers. I just found out the lead singer of The Feeling is gay. I really like the band Dangerous Muse too.

Oh, and please don't list any unless they are really confirmed HOMOSEXUAL or BISEXUAL. Don't say someone is just because you assume. OH, MICHEAL JACKSON IS GAY. And don't say "FALL OUT BOY" because you think that they are fags or something.

But yeaah If you know of any please share

oh, and no lesbians, please.

Here's a start on the list. I went to wikipedia and did some quick google searches. Not sure of its total accuracy--the question marks are for the bi-folks

Elton John, British singer, musician, composer

Freddie Mercury, US lead singer for Queen

Morrissey, lead singer for The Smiths

George Michael

Rufus Wainwright

The Pet Shop Boys

Christian Chavez, RBD

Marc Bolan, TRex

The Village People

Clay Aiken

Grizzly Bear

Depeche Mode ?

Joe Jackson

Boy George

Nemesis

MetroSexuals (Possible bi)

Madonna ?

Dave Matthews ?

Scissor Sisters

Lance Bass

Ari Gold

Matthew Duffy

Miker Rickard

Lou Reed ?

David Bowie ?

Mick Jagger ?

John Lennon ?

NPR recently did a broadcast and looked at 3 seminal albums of the genre

Hope this helps

dig this shit after y'all read the list:

TO: [email protected]

SUBJECT: Alabama 3 (A3 in the United States)

'Apart from voluminous drug references, this band has a song called 'Hypo Full of Love' which includes the lyric 'loving mens, loving women, loving all God's creatures'. Naturally, I've not listened to the song recently but when I heard it at a (now thankfully saved) friend's home it was blatantly obvious the lyric did not refer to the saving love of the Lord Jesus Christ, but to fornication. Indeed, I have it on good authority that this song is one of the 'highlights' of an appallingly debased live show in which the band mocks Christ and faith in general, celebrates promiscuous and unnatural sex and promotes drug use.

I don't believe Alabama 3 have much of a following in the United States — no doubt owing to the hard work of Christians like yourself and having a man of faith in the White House. However, they have a sizeable and vocal cult following here in the United Kingdom and deserve to be castigated for the perverts they are.

Thank and bless you for the work you are doing.'

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

That's pretty funny. Is there some place I send my support to that anti-A3 cause?

Back to the reason for the list... there are reasons a person would want to know. I know after I realized some of my favorite singers were gay I had trouble

listening

to them.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
