Hi everybody, sorry I don't make appearances here as much as I used to.

I am doing okay, waiting for March to see what my cardiologists decision is going to be.

My heart is now only functioning at 10% so it's looking as though I will more than like be going Cleveland for a heart transplant evaluation somewhere around the end of March or the first part of April. I stay real tired and don't have a lot of energy.

Have been sick quite frequently, congestion/stuffiness etc.

I will try to get here more than I have been.....thanks for the concern, you're a great bunch and you know who you are!

Rob

I am still kicking, pacemaker does it's job well and I get to visit University Of Virginia Medical on occasion......ejection fraction is at 20% which is an increase of 3% from 1 year ago.

Can't and don't do a whole lot, lots of meds and rest.

Have 2 grandbabies since last I was here......life is as good as it gets I guess.

Hell, I'm happy.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
