I might have mistook the point of the thread. These aren't the songs I associate with a convertible; they are the songs that you should feel sorry for other drivers and pedestrians when I'm listening to them.

AC/DC - Highway to Hell/Hell's Bells/Who made Who/ Shook me all night long

Golden Earring - Twilight Zone

ZZ Top - Legs

Quiet Riot - Cum on feel the noise

Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood

Great White - Once Bitten, Twice Shy

Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train

Dire Straits - Money for nothing

Def Leppard - Rocket

Poison - Nothin' But a Good Time

Corey Hart - I wear my sunglasses at night

Violent Femmes - Blister in the Sun

REM - It's the end of the world as we know it

Beastie Boys - No sleep til Brooklyn/Fight for your right/ Girls/ Paul Revere

Huey Lewis - I want a new drug

Queen - Another one bites the dust

Bryan Adams - Summer of '69

Loverboy - Loving every minute of it

Trooper - The Boys In The Bright White Sports Car/General Hand Grenade/We're Here For A Good Time/ Raise a little hell

Helix - Signs

Colin James - Voodoo Thing

Tragically Hip - Blow at high dough/ New Orleans is sinking/ 38 years old/ I'll Believe in You (Or I'll Be Leaving You Tonight

Duran Duran - Hungry like the wolf

Van Halen - Panama

Pink Floyd - Another brick in the wall/ Comfortably numb/ Wish you were here [according to wiki was released in 79 but it was 80's AFAIC.]

Then I got bored with thinking. I'll probably drive around during the "classic rock nooner" tomorrow hearing 80's songs and cursing their ommision.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
