Trump left a note for Biden in the White House and the memes write themselves

The day has finally come. On Wednesday morning, Donald Trump departed the White House for the final time as president, and in an unexpected twist he left something behind: a note for incoming president Joe Biden.

In the days leading up to Biden's inauguration many speculated that Trump would not be following the longstanding tradition of writing a note for the incoming president. However, the White House confirmed that both Trump and VP Mike Pence left notes for Biden and Kamala Harris before leaving the White House on Wednesday.

The contents of Trump's note are not yet known, but the Twitter memes have already begun. There's always a chance that Trump had a last minute change of heart and decided to pen a genuine, pleasant note to the Bidens. But based off of everything we've seen from Trump these last four years the "note" could also just be his giant signature written in Sharpie on a blank piece of paper, an insult, or perhaps a repeat of his parting quote to the American people: "Have a good life."       You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
