Fresh off dropping his explosive collaborative track “Awake” with FaZaD and a remix for DJ King, Hong Kong-based producer and songwriter Jaxis is back with his first solo original this year, coming to bedroom-based label Esc. Records to
share “Whatcha Need.” Aiming to bring the best of Hong Kong’s electronic music to the world, Jaxis has crafted a unique production style, tirelessly working on a lot of exciting music that he’ll be releasing soon.

“Whatcha Need” is arguably one of his best tunes to date, a soulful yet aggressive house gem that is keeping us on our toes throughout. Starting off with a groovy bassline and funky vocals, the tune slowly builds up into a captivating buildup. The drop explodes with the help of gritty sound design and heavy drum work, a perfect example of Jaxis’ ability to create engaging house gems.
