GRiZ Unleashes ‘Bangers[6].Zip’ EP with Jauz and Blunts & Blondes Collabs [LISTEN]

Recommended Posts

Today, GRiZ hits us with another edition of bangers with the Bangers[6].Zip EP.

The leading track, “No Doubt,” rocks a slow and steady beat, bringing back gritty sounds and textures from GRiZ’s early years. Matched with deep wubs signature of Jauz, “No Doubt” is a full body banger that combines their sound design expertise for a massive result.

The next collab, “Juicy” with Blunts & Blondes, blends a variety of sounds and styles that range from soulful chants to bouncy bass and gritty growls. The final track, “Brain Fuzz” has all the makings of an anthem, matching brass horns with a relentless riddim drop. “Yeah, fuck me up!”

Following up Chasing The Golden Hour Pt. 3, GRiZ drastically shifts gears with Bangers[6].Zip, showcasing his ability to bridge the gap between technical proficiency and playfulness. We can always count on GRiZ to keep the good music coming.

Listen here and let us know your favorite track(s)!

Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
