Smokey Robinson-Being with you

The download is 40megs so it is likely to be pretty good quality. I have it downloading now. I also have some albums (Toto - Falling In Between (2006), Alan Jackson - Like Red On A Rose (2006), George Strait _ It Just Comes Natural (2006), and Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On (Deluxe Edition) 2cd) downloading at the same time so it will be a few minutes before it is finished. Two of the albums are for my country music fan brother. The other two are mine. Guess which ones.

I really like Smokey's music. I even bought a cd a few weeks ago. It was a 2 on 1 job with the albums "Going to a Go-Go" and "Away We Go-Go" on the same cd. Early Smokey 4sure. I had quit buying cds but I had a weak moment. I have always liked Motown type stuff.

Thanks, Sir Droopy, for a nice video! :)

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
