Dr. Fresch Enlists In Andre Nickatina for Heavy Midtempo Collab “It Don’t Stop” [LISTEN]

Recommended Posts

Dr. Fresch calls upon influential Bay Area rapper Andre Nickatina (P.K.A. Dre Dog) to sauce up his menacing midtempo bass track, “It Don’t Stop” — out today on Dim Mak.

As the instinctive collab takes over, we’re met with the heavy hitting style we’ve all come to know and love from Fresch. With each sound and every hit crafted to expert level perfection, “It Don’t Stop” is primed for bass and house lovers everywhere.

Dr. Fresch provides a statement to go with the release:

I grew up listening to Andre Nickatina from a young age, and to me his voice is synonymous with San Francisco Hip-Hop. I reached out to him to collaborate and he actually happened to be putting together a new album. I was fortunate enough to produce a track on his latest record, while simultaneously working with him on ‘It Don’t Stop.’ Andre had never worked with anyone in the EDM space before, but we formed a mutual understanding through working together to create both these records. ‘It Don’t Stop’ is simply a fun record; it’s a high energy, banging, catchy song that will inspire anyone to get up —whether in the house, the gym or back on the dance floor.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
