Listen to Lil B’s “Like A Martian” and it’s hard to really come up with how it would translate to an EDM flip. That didn’t stop MineSweepa from getting after it, though, and absolutely murking it.

First step: distort the f*ck out of it.
Second step: put a hard kick on it.
Third step: add some spice.

MineSweepa is a talent in the studio, as we’ve seen from the past couple tracks of his we’ve featured on Your EDM. Here, he flexes his flip skills with one of rap’s most notorious names and brings it into the trap realm with a smoothness that is truly impressive.

Check out “Was Hannin!!” below and grab the free download if you dig. MineSweepa is heading on tour next month, too — check out dates below.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
