An acquaintance of mine, John Boylan worked as the band's producer. Boylan also produced Linda Ronstadt and introduced the Eagles to each other.

I actually got into this band. Growing up, they used to play "Reminiscing" for a show called Family Film Festival, which I believe followed Popeye on Sunday mornings. I remember this bald dude who used to draw Popeye and stuff in between the cartoons. I used to have the LP of LRB's greatest hits, the one with the woman in the bathing suit swimming underwater. I think it opened with "Night Owls" and ended with "Cool Change." Both these song I think were my favorites, with possibly a couple others. "Lonesome Loser" is ok. Definitely recall it being played a lot back then.

I'm glad everyone here, so far, are enjoying them. It's cool being able to see the vid, & enjoy the music at the same time. Brings backs memories to some, some are watching for the first time vids they only heard the music to but don't have a clue what the artist looked liked. I've got plenty more. :D

Oh yea, it's very cool. I grew up in the 70's. So, all of these 80's videos bring back some nice memories!!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
