One of Malaa‘s fan favorite tracks just got a 2020 upgrade. Plus, a full tour announcement to go with it.

The “Bling Bling” (2020 Remix) is out now via Confession, kicking off the new year with the same vigor and charisma that fueled Malaa’s inevitable takeover of the dance music scene. In 2020, “Bling Bling” rocks a totally revamped, extended build and an intoxicating bassline laced with filth, matched with the notorious one liner — Every time I come around your city, Bling Bling!

Though the OG version of “Bling Bling” still hits, this is the remix we didn’t know we needed until today. The official remix pack exposed five productions from Matroda, Delayers, Bart B, Volac and Hugo — and now we get to hear Malaa’s own reimagined expertise with this 2020 banger.

In addition, the Bling Bling North American Tour kicks off February 27th, spanning 10 dates at some of the most iconic clubs across the country. Malaa will also make his highly-anticipated Coachella debut later this year.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
