Britney gets Puffy

The forthcoming Britney Spears DVD is to feature two new songs, including a P Diddy produced track, it has emerged.

The "In The Zone" DVD, out in the US on March 23, features the new songs "Don't Hang Up" and the Puffy track "The Answer".

Also included in the package are the video clips of Spears' first two singles from the album, "Me Against the Music" and "Toxic" (plus the "Making the Video" episode of the latter).

The bulk of the DVD concentrates on live performances from 2003, including an hour-long ABC concert special, "Britney Spears: In The Zone" shot in New York's Gotham Hall in October.

Britney's forthcoming "Onyx Hotel" tour kicks off on March 2 in San Diego finishing on April 12 in New York.

Following the North American leg, Spears heads to Europe on April 27, playing England, Scotland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Ireland, concluding at Portugal's Rock in Rio festival on June 5.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
