Dr. Fresch and BIJOU set out to “make the most banging g-house record that’s ever been done” — and here it is, in the form of “Get Back.”

With the same tenacious flair heard with their iconic track “Hello” and their double-threat Gangsta Party EP, Dr. Fresch and BIJOU are back at it again. These producers co-wrote the book on g-house, and while they’re constantly battling it out with playful competition, together they’re a dream team.

Get Back’ is no doubt a special record for us both! The real narrative is about two friends and artists coming back to their roots as g-house producers to make something that represents their true colors. — Dr. Fresch

Not only does “Get Back” celebrate the current state of the g-house genre and a powerhouse friendship, it sets the pace for what we can expect to hear from these absolute Gs in 2020.

It was a very special week with Tony where “Get Back” came to life. We were locked away in northern California with no internet, no phones, just the two of us having fun making the music that we love. — Bijou

“Get Back” is out now via Confession. Listen below.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
