It’s been about three and a half months since Jeffrey Sutorius announced his solo return as Dash Berlin as the project’s original producers, Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg, respectfully bowed out. Now, the project’s first release since then is finally here and it’s absolutely beautiful.

Remixing “Cold Summer” by Myon feat. Icon, Dash Berlin brings back the same thunderous synths and super saws that we’ve known and loved from the group. Along with Icon’s vocals, the trance hit does a lot to evoke ideas of cryo blast and lasers swirling around in the air above your head.

The pounding beat is sure to be a sign that Dash Berlin is back in action. Check out the remix below, out via Thrive Music, and be on the lookout for more new music from Dash coming soon!

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
